2-3 days before your wedding, your box lands at your door. Camera loaded, batteries charged, memory card ready. Everything you need, nothing you don't.
Take five minutes to get familiar with the camera. We include a step-by-step instruction card and a video tutorial via QR code — so anyone can pick it up and start filming.
Your bridesmaid. Your brother. Your best friend from university. We include a shot list with moments worth capturing, so your loved ones know what to look for — without losing the spontaneity that makes it real.
That's it. The camera is ready, your people are ready. Each battery lasts up to 8 hours, and the 256 GB memory card holds up to 8 hours of 4K footage.
Pack everything into the original box, stick on the prepaid label, and drop it off. That's your part done.
Once your camera arrives, our editing team dives in. Within 2–3 weeks your footage is organized and ready to review. Your finished film follows within 4–6 weeks.
On your anniversary. On a random Tuesday. Whenever you need to go back. Your people captured it — we made sure you'll never forget it.

Shipping & Returns

Your kit ships 2-3 days before your wedding date — so it arrives with plenty of time to spare. Once your order is confirmed, we'll send you your tracking details so you always know where your package is.
We ship across Europe, excluding the UK and Switzerland. If you're unsure whether we deliver to your country, just reach out.
Your kit includes a prepaid return label. Once your wedding is over, simply pack everything back into the original box and drop it off at your nearest UPS access point. No printer needed — just show the QR code we send you.

Not at all. The Sony 4K camcorder we send you is designed for everyday use — point, press record, and you’re good to go. We include a simple one-page guide with everything your guests need to know. No experience required.
We recommend booking at least 8–12 weeks before your wedding date to ensure availability, especially during peak season (May–October). The earlier the better — popular dates fill up fast.
That’s entirely up to you. Close works beautifully alongside a professional video team — and just as well without one. Some couples use it as their only video coverage. Others add it on top of what they already have. Either way, you get a film full of real, unscripted moments that no one planned.
Your finished film will be delivered digitally within 4–6 weeks after we receive the camcorder back. We’ll send you a private link to download and share it however you like.

Spilled drinks, happy tears, midnight dancing: we wouldn’t have it any other way. The only thing we ask: please return the camcorder in the same condition you received it. Otherwise, fees may apply, as set out in our rental agreement.
Getting everyone to actually send you their clips afterwards? Nearly impossible. The Close camcorder keeps everything on one memory card — no chasing, no missing footage. And there’s something about a handheld camcorder that guests just love. It feels nostalgic, a little playful, and it gets passed around in a way a phone never does.
No stress. Just contact us at hello@close.film and we’ll send you a new one right away. Please return the camcorder within the agreed timeframe to avoid any late fees.
Not at all. That’s the whole idea — hand the camcorder to the people who know you best and let them do the rest. Your mum, your best man, your college friends. The more people who pick it up, the better the film.
