I've been photographing weddings since 2016. And for just as long, I've wanted to offer video too — but it never quite fit the way I wanted it to.

So instead of forcing it, I started thinking differently.

Professional videography is beautiful. But it misses something. It misses your best friend whispering something in your ear before you walk down the aisle. It misses the look your mum gives your dad when nobody's watching. The chaos, the laughter, the moments that were never on any shot list.

Those moments don't happen in front of a camera crew. They happen between the people who've known you long before this day ever existed.

No videographer in the world knows your people the way your people do. Close exists because of that simple truth — put the camera in the hands of those closest to you, and let them film what only they can see.
